Aberffraw

Mae Cyngor Cymuned Aberffraw yn grŵp cynrychioliadol etholedig statudol ar gyfer cymuned leol Aberffraw, yng Nghyngor Sir Ynys Môn.

Ein rôl ni yw cynrychioli barn y gymuned i’r Awdurdod Lleol ac ati a gweithredu ar faterion sydd o bwys i’r gymuned.

Mae 12 aelod etholedig yn cynrychioli’r tair ward: Pentref Aberffraw (Ward y De), ardal Llangwyfan (Ward Llangwyfan) ac ardaloedd Dothan a Soar (Ward y Gogledd).

Rydym yn cwrdd yn Neuadd Bentref Aberffraw ar y trydydd dydd Mercher ym mhob mis, heblaw am Awst a Rhagfyr.

Mae’r Cyngor Cymuned yn gyfrifol am gynnal a chadw llwybrau’r ardal, rheoli’r fynwent gymunedol, a’r maes chwarae. Rydyn ni’n gosod a rheoli rhandiroedd (caeau) i breswylwyr ac rydyn ni hefyd yn Ymddiriedolwyr Neuadd Bentref Aberffraw.

Mae’r Cyngor Cymuned yn aelod o One Voice Wales.


Aberffraw Community Council are a statutory elected representative group for the local community of Aberffraw, within the Isle of Anglesey County Council.

Our role is to represent the views of the community to the Local Authority etc. and act on issues of importance to the community.

There are 12 elected members representing the three wards: Aberffraw Village (Southern Ward), Llangwyfan area (Llangwyfan Ward) and Dothan and Soar areas (Northern Ward).

We meet at the Aberffraw Village Hall on the third Wednesday of each month, other than August and December.

The Community Council is responsible for maintaining the area’s footpaths, managing the community cemetery, and the playground. We let and manage (fields) allotments to residents and are also Trustees of the Aberffraw Village Hall.

The Community Council is a member of One Voice Wales.
